Ms. Shobana Kamineni, Vice-President
Shobana Kamineni, Promoter Director of Apollo Hospitals and Executive Chairperson of Apollo Health Co Ltd and Apollo Pharmacies Ltd., leads Apollo 24/7 and India’s largest pharmacy network with 6,000+ stores. She founded Apollo Munich Health Insurance (now HDFC Ergo) and pioneered a Biobank recognized by Time Magazine among the top 10 life sciences ideas of the decade.
The first female President of CII in over a century, she serves on FIND’s audit committee, advancing diagnostics for poverty-related diseases. She also founded Billion Hearts Beating, an NGO for heart disease prevention. Actively engaged with the World Economic Forum, she advocates workforce readiness and digital healthcare inclusion.
Honored with the Businesswoman of the Decade award and honorary doctorates, she is also a national-level squash player and adventure sports enthusiast.
Dr. Sangita Reddy, Secretary
Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals, is a global healthcare leader and Chair of G20 Empower, driving empowerment and sustainability. She has led AI, IoT, and digital health projects at Apollo, earning HiMSS-Elsevier ICT awards and Level-6 certifications.
A member of the World Economic Forum and India’s Technology Development Board, she expands healthcare access through Apollo Reach and TeleHealth. As Chair of Apollo Philanthropy, she leads initiatives like SAHI and mobile NCD screening.
Honored with FICCI’s Women in Excellence Healthcare Award and the IWEC International Women Entrepreneur Award, she holds a Science degree and studied at Rutgers, Harvard, and NUS.
Mr. Bhaskar Reddy, Jt. Secretary
B Bhaskar Reddy is a finance professional with 30+ years of expertise in financial strategy, revenue growth, and risk management. He is the Vice President of Finance & Accounts for Apollo Hospitals, Telangana, and Secretary of Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation (AHERF).
He plays a key role in developing financial strategies that drive business growth while managing risks. Mr. Reddy also holds Director roles at Totem Advertising, Totem Travels, Kurnool Hospital Enterprise, and Apollo Life Time Wellness Rx. Additionally, he is the Managing Director of Apollo Health Resources and a Trust Member of Cure Foundation.
Mr.Atchuyt Prasad V Reddy, Treasurer
Mr. Atchyut Prasad Reddy is the Managing Director of Family Health Plan Ltd and an Advisor to Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. With over 14 years of expertise in Medical Informatics and Health Insurance operations, he has played a key role in shaping healthcare strategies.
He has contributed to the national insurance sector as a member of the National Insurance Advisory Council under IRDA, actively participating in data standardization initiatives. Earlier, he gained extensive experience in operations and logistics within the manufacturing sector. He holds a postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, USA.
Ms. Sindoori Reddy, Trustee
Ms. Sindoori Reddy has extensive experience in corporate, hospital, institutional, industrial, and outdoor catering. She served as Joint Managing Director at Apollo Sindoori Hotels Limited and has been its Director since 2006.
She also directs Faber Sindoori Management Services, a subsidiary delivering biomedical services to healthcare providers, and Olive Plus Twist Avenues, specializing in elite catering, convention centers, and event management. She played a key role in establishing Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai.
Ms. Reddy holds a Bachelor’s in International Business and Finance from Pepperdine University, California.
Mr. K. Visweshwara Reddy, Trustee
Mr. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy is an accomplished engineer, entrepreneur, and politician. He serves as a Member of Parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha, representing Chevella, Telangana. Notably, he is the only Indian Parliamentarian to be granted a US patent while serving as a Member of Parliament.
Professionally, Mr. Reddy has a strong engineering background. He worked as an adjunct faculty member at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Essex County College, Newark. As a successful software entrepreneur, he founded Citadel Research & Solutions, a company specializing in engineering research and development, and was involved in the creation of several intellectual property rights.
Mr. Reddy’s professional experience includes serving as the CEO and Managing Director of GE MSIT at General Electric and as the CEO and Managing Director of Wipro HCIT at Wipro.
Dr. K. Prabakar, Trustee
Dr. Prabakar is an academic leader and pioneer in healthcare education. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Madras, a Master’s in Personnel Management from MSSW, a Law and Chemistry degree, and an Executive Management certification from IIM Bangalore. He is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Since 1986, he has held leadership roles at Apollo Hospitals, serving as Corporate HR Head until 2010. He played a key role in quality accreditations like ISO, JCI, NABH, and NABL. Transitioning to education, he founded Apollo MedSkills and helped establish The Apollo University.
He has trained over 5,000 Lean Six Sigma professionals and is a Visiting Professor at The Apollo University.
